Menurutnya, Ramadan adalah bulan yang penuh dengan pekan sakral dan menjadi peluang bagi umat Muslim untuk memperkuat iman, refleksi diri, memberikan maaf, serta melakukan tindakan penuh kasih dan kebaikan.

Ia mengungkap, Ramadan juga menjadi momen rasa syukur dan kebersamaan yang telah menjadi tulang punggung kisah umat Muslim di Australia.

Anthony mengatakan, umat Muslim Australia telah memperkaya bangsa tersebut dengan kerja keras, aspirasi, rasa kebersamaan, dan kecintaan terhadap negeri.

Ia menegaskan, keberhasilan, kekuatan, dan kesatuan negara Australia dibangun di atas hak dasar setiap negara untuk beribadah dengan damai dan aman.

Selain itu, Anthony juga menyinggung duka atas konflik Timur Tengah yang juga dirasakan oleh umat Muslim di Australia, serta mendorong perdamaian di wilayah tersebut, sekaligus tidak memungkiri bahwa masih banyak hal yang harus diupayakan untuk mewujudkannya.

It is also an expression of the compassion, gratitude, and togetherness that have been the hallmarks of the story of Muslims in Australia. It is a long and proud story, one that has seen generations of Muslim Australians enrich our society with your hard work, your aspiration, your sense of community and your love of country.

At Ramadan, we reaffirm that our nation's success, strength and unity is built on the fundamental right of every Australian to practice their faith in peace and safety, proud of who they are. We all take pride in the remarkable country we have built together and we all share a responsibility to safeguard it.
It is also important to acknowledge the pain and grief that the conflict in the Middle East has caused for Muslims here in Australia. While moves towards peace in the region are encouraging, there is still much to be done.
