Pada materi Bab 1, siswa belajar tentang perayaan hari kemerdekaan Indonesia, Bab 2 memuat materi berbuat baik kepada sesama makhluk hidup, kemudian di Bab 3 siswa belajar tentang menghemat energi.
Di halaman 146, siswa diminta untuk mengerjakan soal prosedur menghemat air berdasarkan dua situasi yaitu ketika mencuci peralatan makan/masak dan ketika menggosok gigi.
Setelah memilih salah satu, siswa diminta menulis rencana teks prosedur pada kolom yang tersedia dan pastikan mengerjakan soal secara mandiri.
Orang tua/wali/guru dapat membantu siswa dengan melihat pada kunci jawaban untuk memandu proses belajar siswa.

Option 1:
a. Brushing Teeth

Goal: To save water while brushing my teeth.
Steps:
- Prepare your toothbrush and toothpaste.
- Turn on the tap just to wet your toothbrush.
- Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth.
- Brush your teeth for about two minutes.
- Turn on the tap again to rinse your mouth and toothbrush.
- Turn off the tap after finishing.

Structures:
1. Starting the presentation:
- “Good morning everyone. Today I’m going to tell you how we can save water when brushing our teeth.”
- “I will explain some simple steps we can do every day.”
2. Showing the steps:
- “First, prepare your toothbrush and toothpaste.”
- “Next, turn on the tap only to wet your toothbrush, then turn it off.”
- “After that, brush your teeth while keeping the tap closed.”
- “Finally, turn on the tap again just to rinse.”
3. Ending the presentation:

Option 2:
a. Washing the dishes

Goal: To save water while washing the dishes.
Steps:
- Scrape leftover food into the trash bin.
- Fill one side of the sink or a basin with water and dish soap.
- Wash all dishes in the soapy water.
- Fill another basin or side of the sink with clean water for rinsing.
- Rinse the dishes quickly using the clean water.
- Turn off the tap after finishing.
c. Plan your presentation
Structures:
1. Starting the presentation:
- “Good morning everyone. Today I’ll explain how to save water when washing the dishes.”
- “It’s a simple way we can help the environment every day.”
2. Showing the steps:
- “First, remove leftover food from the dishes.”
- “Next, fill a basin or sink with soapy water.”
- “Then, wash all dishes in that water.”
- “After that, rinse them quickly with clean water.”
- “Finally, turn off the tap when you’re done.”
3. Ending the presentation:
