TRIBUNNEWS.COM - Ujian Madrasah (UM) merupakan salah satu tahapan evaluasi akhir yang dilaksanakan oleh madrasah untuk mengukur pencapaian kompetensi peserta didik setelah menempuh proses pembelajaran di jenjang MTs. 

Pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026, pelaksanaan UM resmi diselenggarakan berbasis Computer Based Test (CBT), sehingga siswa dituntut tidak hanya menguasai materi, tetapi juga terbiasa dengan sistem ujian digital.

Berdasarkan Prosedur Operasional Standar (POS) UM 2026 yang tertuang dalam Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam (Kepdirjen Pendis No. 751 Tahun 2026), pelaksanaan Ujian Madrasah untuk jenjang MTs dijadwalkan berlangsung pada rentang waktu 20 April hingga 16 Mei 2026. 

Rentang waktu ini memberikan fleksibilitas bagi masing-masing madrasah dalam mengatur jadwal ujian, namun tetap harus mengacu pada ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan secara nasional.

Mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris menjadi salah satu komponen penting dalam Ujian Madrasah karena berperan dalam mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks, menyusun kalimat, serta berkomunikasi secara sederhana dalam bahasa internasional. 

Tidak hanya sekadar hafalan kosakata, soal Bahasa Inggris juga menuntut kemampuan memahami konteks, menganalisis makna, hingga merespons dialog dan teks bacaan dengan tepat.

Materi yang diujikan mencakup berbagai keterampilan berbahasa, seperti reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, hingga pemahaman terhadap dialog dan teks fungsional. 

Dengan cakupan materi yang cukup luas, siswa perlu memiliki pemahaman yang menyeluruh serta kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menjawab setiap soal yang diberikan.

Sebagai langkah persiapan yang efektif, latihan soal menjadi salah satu strategi yang sangat dianjurkan. 

Melalui latihan yang rutin, siswa dapat mengenali pola soal, meningkatkan ketelitian, serta membangun kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi ujian sesungguhnya.
