TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Siswa SMA/MA Kelas 12 kini memasuki Unit 1 dalam buku pelajaran Bahasa Inggris Life Today Kurikulum Merdeka, berjudul “Narrative Text: The Story of a Friendly Future”, yang disusun oleh Susanti Retno Hardini, dkk dan diterbitkan oleh Kemdikbudristek pada tahun 2022.

Unit ini dirancang untuk mengembangkan pemahaman siswa secara menyeluruh terhadap teks naratif.

Materi mencakup pengenalan struktur dan tujuan komunikatif teks naratif, serta ciri-ciri kebahasaan seperti penggunaan past tense dan action verbs.

Siswa juga diarahkan untuk mengidentifikasi informasi eksplisit dan implisit, menguraikan ide pokok, hingga menulis dan menceritakan ulang teks naratif secara runtut dan sesuai kaidah bahasa.

Pada halaman 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 siswa dihadapkan pada sejumlah soal berbasis keterampilan Reading, yang terbagi ke dalam Activity 1, Activity 2, dan Activity 3.

Dalam aktivitas tersebut, siswa diminta menjawab beberapa pertanyaan berdasarkan petunjuk dalam buku.

Penting untuk diketahui, sebelum melihat kunci jawaban, siswa diharapkan terlebih dahulu mengerjakan soal secara mandiri.

Adapun kunci jawaban disediakan untuk membantu orang tua membandingkan dan memeriksa hasil pekerjaan anak secara objektif.
